Paper Pumpkin June

Paper Pumpkin is monthly subscription of fun packed projects from cards to 3-D projects. I normally don’t go for kits but this kit that arrives monthly is always fun because you never know what the kit will be,  Stampin Up keeps it a secret. This month was a card kit, one has a flower and the other one is done like a banner. Here is flower card, the card has matching envelope with liner. I think it turned out okay.
The banner card I made using two different inks, one is Tip Top Taupe and the other is Island Indigo. They also come with matching envelopes with liner. So If you would like a surprise every month you can order your kits through http://joettelutgen.stampinup.net and choose me as your demonstrator. Then you can be surprised every month for $19.95 includes shipping. I look forward to seeing you enjoy the surprise with me.

Another sketch challenge

Going off another sketch challenge I entered I used the triangles embossing folder, painted petals DSP, scallop tag topper punch, and the You’ve got this stamp set by Stampin Up. I added pear pizzazz cotton ribbon, Old Olive ink and 3 Old Olive candy dots as embellishments. I also used the corner rounder to round the corners for a different look. The colors used were very vanilla, pear pizzazz, daffodil delight cardstock. If you would like any of these supplies, you can go to joettelutgen.stampinup.net and shop 24/7. I look forward to your business.

Thinking of You Cards

It seems like we always need Thinking of you cards to send to friends and family. I like making them. I have made this card using the You've Got This stamp set by Stampin Up. I used Wisteria Wonder, and Old Olive ink, Very vanilla card stock, and crumb cake card stock. I embossed the flower with pewter embossing powder then filled the flower in using wisteria wonder and old olive ink and a blender pen, I then added 3 rhinestones to give it some bling. I used wisteria wonder seam binding and tied a knot. This card you could leave it without a sentiment and add it later on for what ever occasion you need. A very pretty card.

Coffee and Friends!

This card I made has the coffee feel to it. I made this for my daughter's friend, she loves coffee. I used the Perfect Blend stamp set by Stampin Up, Gorgeous Grunge stamp set by Stampin Up and some Designer Series Paper(DSP). The Perfect Blend stamp set has two sayings, perfect for coffee lovers. Hope you enjoy.

Vellum Cards

A very simple card to make is using vellum as a cover. The vellum I have used in this card is printed on, I kind of cheated, but it was so lovely. I added coastal cabana card stock behind it, then popped it on black card stock for a pop. Added some coastal cabana thick baker's twine and tied a bow. A very clean and simple card. Hope you enjoy.

Water Coloring

I’ve been working with my favorite medium, water coloring you get a different look every time, which makes it fun to do. This card I worked on was made with a Stampin Up's stamp set called You’ve got this. I used distress markers and water to achieve the stamped piece, I spritzed a paper doily with shimmer paint added 3 pink brads, pink ribbon, 3 sequins and a rhinestone.

Watercolor

I have been doing some watercolor techniques, one is a known as a watercolor resist, it was a lot of fun to do.
You first emboss it, then lay color down with an aqua painter, and let the colors run together. The second card I worked on was a pieced I watercolored then die cut hello from it. Dry embossed the black layer, then put on the hello piece and added 3 enamel dots. Clean and simple. Hope you like,
